Way behind!

So much has been going on lately that I haven't had time to blog. I think I might have time tomorrow to upload my pics to show all.

A Day with the Ducks!

Shawn and I decided to take a little drive after church today to visit the ducks. We drove down to the Provo wilderness park. We had so much fun watching the ducks and the people trying to feed them.
We decided not to bring bread for the ducks, which was a good call because we didn't get there till like 5:15pm and the ducks were totally over fed. There was this one boy duck that kept trying to hit on this girl duck but his girlfriend would get mad and chase the little hussy off. Super funny! Then there was this little family of a mom, dad, and a 3 year old little boy. The little boy kept trying to get into the water. One attempt he almost made it but his dad grabbed him just in time. Unfortunately he didn't save the little boys ball. It started to float into the middle of the pond. Shawn and I almost died of laughter watching the mom and dad try and get the ball while the little boy screamed his head off. At one point the mom almost had it but the little boy was impatient and tried to push his mom in the pond to get it. She was lucky and at the last second regained her balance. Funny! In the end they got the ball out and left. All is well!

I, being the prego I am, had to use the little girls room REALLY bad. SO we left the park to find a bathroom. We found a KOA down the road. When we pulled in we almost hit a duck taking a little nap on the road. We were like a foot and a half away from him and all he did was lift his head, look at us, and put it back down. This picture is the ducks just chill'n on the road.

Thanks for the fun day Shawn!

I know I'm over due for my 28 weeks belly shot. Sorry. I'll try and get it done soon.

The Quilt!

So...I finally finished Peanuts Quilt!!!
I didn't know what I would do being pregnant and having to wait 9
months for our baby to get here. So... I decided to make stuff!
This is what I have finished...
The Quilt!
This is the back . I sent it out to get the flowers stippled on.
Are they not the cutest you've ever seen?!
Here's the front and back. Yes, I did do the edging all by myself.

Bumpers: These I had to make up myself. I love how they turned out!
I used lots of different textures ans prints.

I had tons of fabric left over! So...my mom and I decided to make
these little pillows. We think they're fun!

I also made a crib sheet. I still have to finish the crib skirt
and make covers for the glider and ottoman.
Pictures of the Nursery will come later when it's finished.
