Sorry!!!

We have been so busy that I haven't had anytime to up date. Shawn is working hard and playing lots of soccer. I have been doing lots of hair. We are in the process of trying to sell my bug and Shawn's truck. I wish someone would just buy both of them already so I can get my new car. We're thinking the truck wont sell till the snow comes back. So here I am praying for it to snow!

We are loving teaching the youth (12-18) in our ward. They are super cool! We have an agreement that if everyone brings there scriptures to class for four weeks in a row then we'll have a party at our house. Three weeks in and they're doing great!

Well that's all I have for now. Check ya later!

Our Germans!!!

Maria, Julia, Sally, Shawn, and Moritz!
This past year Shawn's family had a wonderful exchange student named Moritz! We have grown to Love him as a brother. There has been lots and lots of fun times. Going to the BYU football game, Sunday dinners, family party's, Christmas lights, Lagoon and more!!! What a sweet and very gentlemen like boy he is. We are so pleased to have you in our lives for now and forever!
So... Two weeks before Moritz was to leave his two sisters, Julia and Maria, came for a little holiday. What Beautiful girls! Their first day here Shawn and I showed up to meet them and mooch a little dinner. I know they had to have been overwhelmed and if I remember correctly they had major jet lag. Yuck! And still they were as sweet as ever. Over those two weeks we grew to love Julia and Maria as sisters too. We will never forget the night before they left. The "Banana Dance" had never been danced so well!!
Thank you for coming into our live and making them better. We are counting the days till you three come back next year. Shawn is so excited to teach Julia how to snowboard and to ski with the others!! We love you, we love you, we love you!! Be safe and know our prayers are with you always!

Yes, I went Camping!!!

Yes, I went camping! I told Shawn I wanted to show him how much I love him for fathers day do I said we could go camping! He wes sooo excited!!! Since I did say when we got married that I would Never go camping. We had fun. I've never camped like this before and believe it or not I liked it.

Shawn pulled out all the stops so I would like camping and be willing to go agian. He even brought an air mattress. But brought the wrong kind of pump. so we had to blow it up by mouth. In the middle of the night I couldn't sleep, I was so cold and the air mattress wasn't full enough so my bumb was touching the ground, so I asked Shawn if he would play a game of phase 10 with me. And he did! So here we are at like 3am playing.

On fathers day we woke up and had a wonderful breakfast. Shawn made a fire eventhough it was already hot outside. The kid just loves to make and sit by a fire. After that we packed up camp and went home. Then we went on a 3 hour ride around the lake on the bike! Then off to my ,Sally's, parents. Where we played horse shoes and a game you throw a rope with a ball at each end at some pvc pipes. Our brother Dave let Shawn try and through the rope things around his neck. Scary!

Here I am on our drive around the lake.

That next wednesday we had breakfast with Shawn's brother and his family. Dustin, Whitany, Cade, Sheena, Jake, Lila. Whit made these great almond covered french toast!!! Mmmmm.

Don't these boys look so cute! Shawn... I think you're a natural! Thanks for all the fun times.

Just as a funny little side bar. I was at my friend Jessie's baby shower holding cute little Max when I started to smell something sweet. Thinking that Max might have a little poop in his pants. I went to check and lo and behold not only did he have poop in his pants but it was up his back and all on my shirt! Man, was it funny!! I have always felt that when a baby is willing to spit up, throw up, and/or poop on you it means that they really like you! So thanks for the love Max!
