On Saturday night Shawn had a soccer game. His Dad, Mom, Tyson, Moritz, Dustin, Whitany, and Cade came to cheer him on. With about 15 minutes left in the game Shawn was contending with another guy for the ball. His legs were swept out from under him and he landed on his left ankle very hard. they had to help him off the field. After some time thinking he could just "walk it off" he came to the realization(?) that he was really hurt. After the game ended we hurried home to take care of the his ankle. As far as we could all tell it was brocken and we couldn't have that. not with Shawn staring a buissness and having only Cobra! Shawn asked his Dad and brother Dustin to give him a blessng. What a beautiful blessing it was. He was blessed that his ankle had already started to heal and would continue to heal quickly. This is what happened.....

April 6th was my mom's (Dee Dee) birthday. We all got together tonight for her birthday! Happy Birthday Mama!!!! What a wonderful Woman!!

What a miracle! That's so wonderful! I had that same thing happen to me, only it wasn't quite as bad but I had just started a job at Nordstrom and the next day was the first day of the big sale, and I couldn't miss it, and I got a blessing and it was about completely healed the next morning, just amazing! Its all about the faith :) Way to go you guys!
And just for the record, it was a very exciting game with Shawn playing - I didn't know it would be so fancy schmancy. We're glad we went!
Shawn, I am glad to hear that you ankle is getting better. I was worried that it might have gotten worse.
Hurt ankles are the worst! I was wondering what happened when I saw him the other day...I am so glad that all is well now. Happy birthday to your mom!!!
